Account Manager

Location:        Los Angeles County

Overview:

We are looking for outgoing, ambitious and results driven Account Managers to join our growing team! The objective of this position is to provide exceptional customer service to our clients while meeting/exceeding both individual and team sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the communication and follow through with customers to provide excellent service
  • Manage time effectively  to meet and accede provided sales goals
  • Accurately process client transactions such as orders and quote
  • Educate clients about features and benefits of products to improve product related sales
  • Ability to work effectively with other Account Managers and other departments to ensure 100% accuracy upon client delivery
  • Be aggressive in closing sales deals and asking the clients to place orders
  • Must be reliable, organized and learn quickly

Requirements:

  • Required 2+ sales experience (industry experience is a plus)

Overview:

This temporary position within our company will require someone who has a strong attention to detail and someone who can work in an extremely fast paced environment. This position is a temporary position for at least 2 months to help through one of our peak seasons. We are a fast growing company, so top temporary performers could be considered for permanent employment when there is a job opening! (Multiple openings available)

Responsibilities:

  • Finishing work for banner stands, pop ups and other large format graphics.
  • Installation of printed graphics into  the banner stand hardware.
  • Pack merchandise to get ready for shipment.
  • Must work well with our team to get jobs completed from beginning to end in the most efficient manner possible.

Requirements:

  • Experience with large format print production desired.
  • Must be able to work efficiently  in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to stay organized while handling materials and supplies carefully so the goods are not damaged.

IT Helpdesk

Location:               Los Angeles  County

Overview:

This IT Support Desk individual will be responsible for the IT support for 2 facilities in the LA Area. This individual will need to have excellent communication and strong technical troubleshooting ability in order to be successful. Ace is a rapidly growing organization that expects to constantly stay on the innovative edge of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • General computer workstation set-up and maintenance on PC and Mac networks
  • Small office PC and Mac network administrator: set-up user accounts, connect network drives; create VPN connections between different office locations, remote services, routine maintenance, etc.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software conflicts and make repairs or adjustments as necessary
  • ISP administration
  • Microsoft Exchange & SharePoint workflow creation and administration
  • Instruct and assist users in the use of computer equipment, software, and manuals.
  • Write manuals and instructions as needed for implemented computer systems
  • Research, advise on and implement new software systems - i.e. Printing Production Software, Quickbooks/Magento Connection Software
  • Research, advise on and implement the purchase of new hardware for complete networks and systems in office

    Graphics Dept – Proofing

    Location:        Los Angeles County

    Overview:

    Seeking an entry level candidate (1-2 years experience) with proofing / pre-flight experience. This will not require any experience or involvement in the actual design.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare digital proofs for clients and send via email
    • Assist clients on the phone with preparing and uploading graphic files to our ftp site.
    • Properly name and organize files/artwork based on company protocol
    • Work with the rest of the graphics team to provide excellent customer service

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CS5
    • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator CS5
    • Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite programs related to graphic design
    • Must be reliable and organized

    • Assisting in pulling orders from warehouse
    • Responsible for a high volume of packaging orders as necessary for shipment

    • Be able to move around large boxes up to 95 lbs. (We have pallet jacks and dollies)
    • Forklift certification is a plus

    QC Inspector

    This QC Inspector will require someone who has a strong attention to detail and someone who can work in an extremely fast paced environment. This is a temporary position for 2-3 months with a strong potential to become permanent. We are a fast growing company, so there is strong potential to become a permanent team member.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assemble and QC graphic display items for defects/damages before shipping.
    • Communicate any damages or problems with the Production Manager to get corrections made before shipping.
    • Document issues with any displays before shipping.
    • Take photos of each assembled item before shipping.
    • Upload photos of each display into our web site so the customer can view the photos.
    • Pack up displays once they have been checked and hand them over to the shipping department.
    • Make adjustments to production calendar to update job status.

    Requirements:

    • Attention to detail is a must.
    • Experience with QC or in a print production environment is REQUIRED
    • Be able to work well in a fast paced environment.
    • Must be highly organized.
    • Be able to handle delicate materials carefully without damaging them.

    Overview:

    This Customer Service position will be the liaison for various other job functions. This individual will need to have excellent communication and be highly organized in order to keep up with our fast paced environment and quick deadline requirements.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor new orders placed online from unassigned accounts
    • Enter, edit and update orders into Production Logs (invoice number, client “need by date”, approvals, holds, payment, order changes, etc.)
    • Input tracking into OMS from vendors
    • Responsible for being a liveChat operator to manage inquiries
    • Handle customer inquiries regarding damaged products, warranty replacements, etc.
    • Communicate and answer any questions designers have on our products
    • Responsible for bridging the communications between our other departments and locations
    • Coordinate and monitor orders with the Order Manager to make sure the customers requested “need by date” is met

    Requirements:

    Assistant Controller

    Overview:

    The Assistant Controller will handle all aspects of the daily bookkeeping. This individual will manage Accounts Payahble, Accounts Receivable, Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, deposits and Collection all through the use of QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be able to develop a team, multi-task, budget their time, and communicate effectively with customers, vendors and employees.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for hiring and developing a team
    • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable
    • Plan and manage weekly check runs and credit card payments
    • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable
    • Enter and reconcile invoices through the duel use of our Order Management software and Quickbooks
    • Generate invoices and make collection calls to collect on overdue invoices
    • Field payables and receivable inquiries
    • Tracking and reporting daily cash management
    • Maintain interim billing between companies
    • Work closely with programmers to bridge the gap between accounting software and our web store
    • Cost Accounting
    • Maintain the Cost of Goods spreadsheet and work closely with the Marketing department
    • Run and interpret weekly and monthly reports for the company
    • Assist with filing and generating 1099's
    • Calculate and enter weekly payroll (including garnishments and other deductions)
    • File all invoices, bills and other documents accurately
    • Assist with month-end and year-end close
    • Responsible for managing a small staff of support positions

    Requirements:

    • Must have a BA degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
    • 3 - 5 years of bookkeeping/Accounting experience desired
    • Proven track record in hiring and developing employees
    • Must have proficiency Excel experience
    • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills is required
    • Ability to manage and lead a team of accounting support positions
    • Experience with an Order Management system is required (Magento is a strong plus)
    • Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus

    Overview:

    This Freelance Designer will be expected to have excellent communication skills, provide superior designs and be able to meet strict deadlines to deliver excellent customer satisfaction. Our business is year around while we have 2 peak seasons. Our busy peak seasons are the month of September and January through April (availability, excellent performance and flexibility required).

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Create design layouts to customer specifications
    • Communicate verbally and by email with customers
    • Be able to work well under tight deadlines
    • Communicate well with our sales & graphics staff in the office to make sure each job is getting done to the client's specifications
    • Follow up with all design jobs that you are responsible for and keep track of the customer's in hand date to get the design done on time
    • Prioritize design jobs and get the most urgent ones first

    Requirements:

    • Must have experience in large format graphic design
    • Must have own computer with Photoshop and Illustrator installed
    • Must be well educated and experienced with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
    • Must be able to communicate well with both customers and co workers
    • Experience with trade show graphics is definitely a huge plus!
    • The designs produced need to not only be "functional" but also creative, modern and aesthetically pleasing. The better our clients look at their show the better we look and the more referrals and repeat customers we get!

    Requirements:

    • Must have 3-5 years of industrial sewing experience
